Job description
- To inspect, test, and maintain safety equipment per manufacturer’s requirements and document service according to Foster Safety/customer policies and procedures.
- Proficient with hand tools.
- Able to complete repairs and maintenance of equipment in a timely and accurate manner.
- Able to provide assistance, advice, and training to Foster Safety associates and plant personnel.
- Assists others in facility including stocking shelves with clean, tested, and ready to use equipment and pulling, staging, and setup and deconstruct equipment.
- Maintains work area and other areas in a clean and orderly condition.
- Performs additional duties after training.
- Able to effectively communicate with others and build rapport with customers quickly.
- Must work safely and adhere to all Foster Safety & customer policies and procedures.
- Routine inspection and maintenance of fire extinguisher, emergency lights, fire hose etc.
- Completes all documentation and data entry associated with inspection and repair in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintains work area and other areas in a clean and orderly condition.
Experience Requirement: 2-3 years experience in the Inspection, Testing and Maintenance of Fire Extinguishers, Fire Alarms, or Sprinkler & Suppression Systems. Has an established amount of knowledge of Fire Extinguishers, Fire Alarms, or Sprinkler & Suppression Systems . Has basic knowledge of troubleshooting and solving issues with Fire Extinguishers, Fire Alarms, or Sprinkler & Suppression Systems . Willing and confident to be on call and solve various Alarm and Suppression Issues that could arise in industrial facilities.

Pay: $18.00 – $30.00 per hour
